Well really if you feel like playing a more realistic game you would choose COD4 and if you want to play something completely the opposite, Halo 3 would be your choice.

Just all depends on your preference, but I think both games are equally good in a FPS perspective.

i vote for halo 3 because of online play, halo 3's story isnt as good as CoD4 but CoD4 isnt as good as halo 3 online, its like every other army game, So since u can play online forever, and you can only play story mode 1ce before it gets boring... halo3 wins overall

cod 4 all the way. graphics are better. way more fun on live. challenging on live since your able to hit 55 up to 11 times. campaigns more challenging especially if your going for 1000 gamerscore because you have to beat it on veteran by YOURSELF unlike halo 3. and finally because halo 3 can go suck a <censored> =]

cod 4 although its getting a bit to repetitive and the new maps aren't a good way to get more ppl to play if ya have to fork out cash to play them

Although, Halo 3 has released its Heroic map packs to everyone, which is good.. And they've also got the Legendary map pack now, which totally own. I think they are both as good as each other, Halo is more on the funner side then Cod4, in Halo you can drive vehicles which also make it exciting.

I used to play Halo 3 all the time, but when COD4 came out I just can't stop playing it. I love it so much, it's really fun.

COD4 blatently. I mean Halo 3 is great and all, very well designed, addictive multiplayer and perfect controls.

But COD4 has everything you want from a FPS, action, stealth, multitude of well balanced weapons, helicopters & a multiplayer that'll shake your nuts off!
