WARNING: HUGE POST!

Lunia is a hack and slash game. Think Devil May Cry(a PG-13 version) crossed with Final Fantasy.
THIS IS NOT LIKE ANY GAME YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED BEFORE.
This is not a typical Korean Grind-fest.
This is NO Runescape.
Where as in other MMORPGs you click on a monster to attack it and click to move, in Lunia EVERYTHING is controlled right from your keyboard. Sort of like a console game.
~Controls~
A=Attack
S=Special Attack(this varies depending on character)
Space=Down Attack(when enemy falls down use this for heavy damage)
1-0=Hot keys for skills
Up/Down/Left/Right Arrow=Move in that direction
Numpad=Can also be used to move up/down/left/right and also diagonally.
Now the game would be boring if you simply just presses A over and over again. This is why the game has a combo system. This means you can form your own combos with strings of A, S and your skills. These are often hard to pull off but the damage can be immense and can easily take down monsters with a lot of HP and even other players in PVP.
If you're looking for an MMORPG to pass the time you might want to check this out upon release.
I provided some screenshots in case you were interested as to how the game looks and plays.

BACKGROUND INFO
I haven't talked about the actual "world" of Lunia yet so I thought I should reiterate some stuff.
~About Lunia World~
Lunia isn't a "free world" MMORPG. If you've ever played games such as Runescape, Maple Story, WoW, etc then you'll probably know what I mean.
If not, it basically means you traverse all around a huge world to get to where you want to.
In Lunia the only place where you can really walk around in is the Town Square.
There are several of these Squares. Each Square can be thought of as a Channel in a Server.
The old Server was called "Soldin" and it had 10 Squares.
In the Square you can meet up with players, set up a private shop, sell stuff, form parties, PVP, finish quests, do events, do Raids, etc.
----------
So you're probably wondering where exactly ARE all the monsters?
Lunia operates sort of differently than other MMOs.
In terms of fighting monsters/doing Raids/Sidestages, Lunia is split up into 4 parts.
An "Episode" and a "Stage."
And "History" and "Legendary."
Each Episode holds 10 Stages.
You begin in History Mode, which is abbreviated as "H".
Let's say you wanted to form a party for Episode 3, Stage 10 in History Mode. You would call the party "3-10H."
When you pass 3-10H you unlock a second mode called "Legendary".
Legendary is simply "Hard Mode" for Lunia. The monsters are beefed up and usually do 10x the damage and have immense amounts of HP.
This is where the combo system REALLY comes into play. It's not rare to see 20+ Monsters on screen ALL going for you.
If you plan on spamming skills the monsters will run up behind you and kill you before you can take one of them down.
Currently, there are 10 Episodes in Lunia.
5 Episodes in History and 5 in Legendary.
As you can see by the screenshots below there are also a few side stages in each Episode. Some of these are "Raids" which I explained in an earlier post and others are related to items/quests/whatever.
(Episode 1)
http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/4861/episode1tv5.jpg
Now on to the bosses:
Each Stage almost always has a boss at the end.
The only Stages in all of Lunia that don't have a boss, but are difficult nonetheless are 1-1H, 1-2H and 2-3H.
But you'll see all that when you sign up.
You will have to use teamwork and tactics to defeat the boss if you're in a party (which is always recommended).
Each Episode has an "Episode Boss."
The Episode Boss has more HP than any previous boss before it and is stronger too. When you defeat an Episode Boss you unlock the next Episode and the next set of 10 Stages.
About equipment:
In many MMORPGs you just kill monsters, pick up their cash, and buy armor.
In Lunia you do not buy you armor/weapons and monsters DO NOT drop cash OR armor/weapons. However, monsters will occasionally drop a box which upon opening may conceal crappy items that are usually sold or a rare piece of Equipment.
Your primary source of income is from selling junk items and from selling weapons and armor that are not for your character class.
Your primary source of equipment is from bosses.
Upon killing every boss, they will drop a box.
Inside that box you will get a random piece of equipment or an item.
This is where the team aspect is especially useful.
Let's say you were looking for a "Legendary Slime Sword", which is a very strong sword for the Knight class.
If you were to do the stage by yourself and kill the boss, you only have about an 11% chance of getting that particular item from the box.
The other 88% will contain equips not for your character class or equipment that you don't need.
In Stages you can have up to 4 people complete that Stage with you.
That means instead of having a 11% chance of finding the item, you now have a 44% chance of finding it. If you are a Knight looking for that item and a Wizard got it, most players will usually trade it for an item for their character class.
If you got a Legendary Slime Staff for the Wizard, she/he will often gladly trade the Sword for the Staff.
