There is no certain resolution the sig should be made in. But if you just take a pic from google put your name on it and say you made it. It won't be entered.

Edit: many people havent read the rules. Sigs may not be bigger than 400x150 ... if they are bigger they WILL NOT be entered

well yeah its fine to get a render off google ( i recommend www.planetrenders.net ) and then just making a sig out of it. But slapping your name on it isint a sig :\
