Alright, well usually I wouldn't even be able to use IRC at all, except for about 5 minutes or I'd lagg out. I decided I might as well try my luck, so I went to the site IRC and this is the error I get when trying to connect:

Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.lang.ThreadDeath : null
Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect
Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect

I try again, and I get the same thing.

I then try and use mIRC, and try to connect using /server irc.dodian.com and I just get this:

* Connecting to irc.dodian.com (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)
-
* Connect retry #1 irc.dodian.com (6667)
-
* Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)
-
* Connect retry #2 irc.dodian.com (6667)

It must be just me, what's wrong? :(

im srry noles idk whats wrong with that cuz i can use it fine.Maybe u cant use irc like i cant log in -.-

Noles im getting the same thing along with alot of other ppl.

So idk what going on. Winten needs to know about this.

Well, yeah... that probably couldn't hurt. I'm sure Nate will go ahead and tell Winten about this though.

Check if your firewall is blocking your connection? Also try and check if you can connect to other IRC servers: /server irc.swiftirc.net:6667

I tried the /server irc.swiftirc.net:6667, it looked as if I was able to connect to that... so it must be something specifically wrong with the Dodian IRC channel itself.

How would I go about checking if it's being blocked? I don't think this is the problem however, since others are having the same problem. It's probably something only Winten can fix. :(

Strange because I can connect to the DodianIRC server fine. >_<
