could you please tell me why i was banned, who banned me, and how long it will last?

ok first off that wasn't even my idea and second he said they were his friends and it was a joke he was playing...he told me to trade him and pretend to give my partyhat and said now i have one! and he put his on then told his friends to trade him there items. I dont think i should be banned because i didn't take any items i was encouraging (since i thought it was a joke like he said it was) and third if it wasn't a joke then i was setup by him and his friends for some reason =[ sorry needed to make my ban appeal here =[
