There are many ways to make money in this game and I'll go through them all.
Before we do that I'll explain the risk and money making levels.
Risk level is the risk you take of losing items doing this.
Speed level is how fast you can make // lose items.
Money making is how much you can make.
Example..:
RLvl - [x][x][x][x][-]
SPLvl - [x][x][x][x][x]
MMLvl - [x][x][x][x][x]
Risk - You can lose items very easily here.
Speed - You can make money very quickly here but also lose it quickly.
Money - You can make a high amount of money doing this.
First method..:
Boss Killing - Well, with boss killing you'll need great gear, this is a great money maker if you're lucky, sometimes you won't get a drop and most of the time your kill will get taken by someone else if you're not high enough level, I recommend using magic or range for this, unless you have maxed melee stats and really good gear. Your drops can vary from a rune 2h to an abyssal whip. There is a good chance you won't get money from this.

Second method..:
Skilling - Skilling is one of the hardest and most time consuming things to do, but you're guaranteed a profit if you stick to it, there's no risk with this. The best skills to do are woodcutting and selling the logs, or fletching them and selling the bows or alching them. Smithing and mining are also good ways, selling bars and ore can make you a ton of money. Herblore is a good way to do it too, potions are high priced although acquiring ingredients for it is tough.

Staking - Staking is one of the hardest things to do, you'll need to choose a level and stats you want and level up to it, you duel people for your cash and can lose money quickly or earn money quickly. It's the riskiest way to earn cash, a bit higher than PKing.

PKing - PKing is an abbreviation for the word player killing, we have added a new zone called the "Wilderness" where you can fight other players close to your level depending on what level wilderness you're in. The risk is high and you may get teamed up on or back stabbed, you can earn money at a decent rate if you're good at it, mages prefer this as they hit very high, although melee and range work well also.
