This is the 9th grade LA Competition.
This years theme was to wright a 2 page (Age Appropriate) Horror Novel. This is what I have so far.

The night, dusk as a winter's ghost just waiting to release a fierce yell. Randal and Eve await at the dock for their box. ''Do you think It will come soon, I need to get home'', Randal exlaimed. Before Eve could respond a screaming, truckish honk filled their ears with a stare of solitude. ''What was that..?'', Eve wondered. Randal could only look around to see that nothing was even close to their area. The oxygen in the air was too cool to even wait another five or so minutes. ''Thats it, I'm going home'', Randal briefly said. Eve gave him an angry stare. ''Fine, but if it's not here by the time my legs drop, then I'm leaving'', Randal continued. Each of their eyes were closing slowly and then reopening extremely fast. ''Ouch, my ears!'', Eve yelled. ''What's going on?!, I can't hear anything I'm saying! Randal stood there with a strange look in his eye of what was happening to Eve. With sarcasm, he lipped ''Pfft, good one.'' Eve later fell into the lake surrounding their feet, then sunk in while Randal saw her shadow. ''Eve!!!'', he screamed. Then there was silence. ''Haha, you actually thought I was drowning.

Chump!, Eve was trying to scoop the water of her ears back into the lake.
''Eve!'', Randall repeated with a much larger scare. ''I told you, it was just a joke, don't you get it yet?, she laughed and laughed until she felt a piercing sting from her leg. Randal slipped to his bike, like he had just saw death speeding towards him. He did not speak a word, only the breaths from his mouth, and the screech of his rusty bicycle was the last not but least of sounds in his ears.

Ehhh. It's ok.

There are several spelling errors within the story and there really isn't much flow throughout it.

Considering you're in 9th grade, I guess maybe a B... probably lower though.
