The truth about Runescape PvP servers!

This thread is dead. Runescape has come out with Bounty Hunter PvP servers, thus making this article dead. Can a mod lock this and sticky it so no one else posts in this thread?

Most of Dodian thinks Runescape blows donkeys. Before, that was true. Now, they have thought of a way to bring back Pking (Without bringing back RTW, or Real World Trading) with a tweest!

October 15 2008: PvP servers released!

Yes kiddies, Pking is back, and with a whole new set of rules... for the better! New armor, new drops, a whole new Runescape! But what about the dark days before?

Chapter 1: The dark days...

Most of you miss the old wild, haning out by the mage arena, killing noobs trying to learn god magic. The good old times. The good old times for me was getting hit random numbers in seconds and respawning in lumbridge, butt naked. Unfortunatly, due tor real world trading, Pking was killed. To put salt in the wound, they released the sad replacement, Bounty Hunter, or infamously known a Bullsh*t Hunter. Another sad replacement was Clan Wars. WHERE ARE THE MILLIONS OF SETS OF RUNE ON THE GROUND?! WHERE?! Also, you could risk your items in Clan Wars for NO gain at all, unlike in Bullsh*t Hunter.

Then, Andrew claped his hands and light shone through darkened darkness of Bullsh*t Hunter and Clan Wars for a new hope... PvP servers!!!

Chapter 2: What the hell are PvP servers and how do I play?

Well, first off...

PvP worlds are dangerous and gravestones do not appear. If you die in a PvP world you will lose your items, so only bring items you are willing to lose

Yes. NO FRIGGIN GRAVESTONES! But... how do we stop real world trading? Are drops back. To put frankly... no.

The drops you receive from your enemies are random, but the greater the value of your items, and the longer you survive, the better the rewards you will win

Half of you are going to type a angry letter to Jagex about random drops but hence the rewards!

There are several types of PvP world equipment, each designed to improve your chances of defeating your enemies, or simply to help you earn even more experience if you dare to train your skills there.

Special armor! Yay! But... how the F*ck do I log onto the PvP Servers? Simple, just go to the new world select from the main menu from the client, toggle the skulled icon and a collum of PvP servers wil be checked in with a Skull.

You will get a warning before logging on...

While you are logging into a PvP world, you will be presented with a warning and given the option to go back to the log-in screen to select a different world.

Click log in and there you go!

Chapter 3: How to fight

Hmm... there are many ways. One, you could run out in the open, sword in the air, and lunge at someone. And that folks, is how I got DD spec'd my first time ever. Another way is to ACUTTALLY think! Bring your best gear, risk at least 25k free, 75k member (Not inculding your 3 rarest items) to have a possiblity to get Anchient Warrior armor (70 def or 20 for courrpted) or Courrpt Dragon armor (Same stats, but crumbles after 30 mins of continuous use)

Chapter 4: The spoils!!!

After attack and attack, you finally bring down your tough a*s opponent, you hover over his fallen body for a rare item. You get a bronze dagger. The odds of that happeneing are really (I'm dead serious) good. Like i mentioned to get the good stuff, you need to risk at least 25k free players or 75k members (Again, not inculding 3 rarest items). Finally, for the hundreth time (or second, if you followed my combat stragety) you finally get a corrrupted dragon peice or another rare item! Then a arrow hits you in the head. MOTHA F*CKER! You just lost it! The trick is, is to run like a drunk towards the nearest bank and bank it. Oh... did i froget to tell you they can attack you INSIDE the bank? Yes, its true, IF you just went into a safe zone. You gotta wait 10 seconds for the safe zone to kick in. UNTIL THEN, you might be Royally boned.

Chapter 5: The aftermath

You killed a sh*t load of people. You totally owned ass. You start to click the home teleport home, but then... YOU GET TELEBLOCKED!!! AND YOUR SKULLED!!! You got low food, and you got low run energy. You got a whip. What do you do? You sit there and die! Most likely, that would be me, making you my bi*ch. See ya!

You played DeviousMUD? I know its was runescape in delveopment, but the PvP was actually every server everwhere on very old RSCLASSIC.

the PvP is crap im my opinion i have a pure its lvl 41 its has:
1 att
1 str
1 def
60 mage
1 pray
53 range
47hp

at my level there are so many 1 itemers taking something like a mith mace or dagger in it just fails. also you should drop every thing...

last reason: you must stay at same spot for a while... So, as a running noob as you are, you get no drop, noob.

runescape gets extremely boring once uve done all the quests and have full rune you have to be a member to get good stuff and the other thing is that to many updates are for members :no: :devil:
