are they rare? if so some1 tell me? i heard they were discontinued

Regular bows are most definitely NOT discontinued.
You can make them out of normal logs while fletching.
Totally common.

its just when you get the log...
-and you use the knfie on it (can't do it while fletching shafts)
-so i if you miss it, you need to click somewhere to walk so you can stop making shafts.
- now when the window/message quickly flashes you ave to be ready to click on short or long or whetever you are doing..
-Best if you have 2+ logs in invent and you right click on the bow and lick on make 5,10, or X (which will make all)
-then you string em.
