View Full Version : An Awesome FPS? NOT COD

I recently got a 360, and I was wondering what FPS's were out that are good. No, I dont want to see CoD4 or 5, something just purely awesome. My friend let me borrow Halo 3, but it really wasnt that good.

All I have is Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Forza Motorsport 2, and Test Drive.

HELP ME.

Uh, you really aren't going to find much besides that, in essence of awesomeness. But you can try;

Battlefield: Bad Company
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
Left 4 Dead

Note; Left 4 Dead is not multiplayer, but a pretty damn awesome game.

Left 4 Dead looks pretty sweet, and I heard BF:BC was pretty good. Is Fallout 3 only for PS3? Or is it a multi-platform game? I was looking at that, and that looks great.

Fallout 3 I don't personally like.

Mirror's Edge looks like another amazing game.

Yea, some of my friends were talking about that. The extreme parkour element is very sweet. It also looks fantastic.

But, on the CoD thing, I might end up getting that because it seems like it pretty much owns all FPS's now. But, the problem is, I don't have XBL, and is it one of those games that basically is meant for online play? Or does it keep its own in Single Player?

The best campaign is Cod4. That storyline is just absolutely thrilling. World at War has Kiefer Sutherland, but the story blows.

Alright, thanks for the info man. Playing Counter Strike over and over again just loses its fun after a while. Hopefully this can keep me busy over my ludicrous Christmas break. :)

Lol Temp you can always get Counter Strike for Xbox, its for the original console but its still awesome XD
