last year me and my girlfriend had an argument she was ina mood to me and wouldn't speak to me.
i gathered the courage to knock at her door and recite the small poem i wrote before going there.

here it is.

If I never met you , then I wouldn’t have liked you.
If I didn’t like you, then I wouldn’t love you.
If I didn’t love you, then I wouldn’t miss you.
But I did, I do, and I will.

it worked although we broke up a month later.
