Unyielding Time
The tenacious attempts,
as I fall into place.
Spinning out of control,
my life at it's base.
The vigorous unwinding,
the ticking slows down.
As slow and unchurning,
like that of a small town.
I feel the pressure,
taste of the fear.
One thing can lift this,
thy angel's tear.
The unconditional surrender,
most hopes are destroyed.
At the expenditure of lives,
every heart must feel toyed.
This poem explains how life ends and how it feels, not necessarily how you feel though.
