Exert your heart and soul,
establish pressure on the ball.
Contain on defense,
whether he is short or tall.

The gripping cheer of the crowd,
you hear them cheering abundantly loud.
Every eye lay on you,
forget the promise you have vowed.

Your body may crumble,
your legs feel weak.
Running down the court,
your game you may critique.

Your team is together,
your record is great.
Just play with your heart,
You will never face defeat.

Just do the common things,
uncommonly well.
Your team will win,
the opponent may dwell.

Nice poem. The rhymes are superb, and the "story" makes some sense! :D I'm not lost half way through the poem asking myself: "What the heck is he/she talking about?" 8.5/10
