Dear Dodian community.
This is a topic stated to the people that answer alot to peoples questions on the forums.
Every time, I'm in the section "Ask a Question" & "How Do I", I see people replying on a thread where already the answer has been given on. I'm wondering .. Why do you people need to repeat the answer if it's already been given? It makes you look like a complete dumbass if you repeat answers. The people kno what to do after the answer has been given, so no need to repeat it or post something like "^ What he said". Do you want more posts or just trying to be a suckup? I'll show you guys a prime example of what I see every day in those sections.
[Everything below comes out of the same topic]
http://i40.tinypic.com/2nvs4lg.png%3C/a%3E
Is it really needed to repeat the answer? If the answer has been given, it means you're to late. Just search for other topics where the answer hasn't been given yet and post the answer there(Do NOT gravedig). I'm not saying you can correct someones answer but don't repeat it.
Example :
Player A : How do I make money?
Player B Answers : Train skills.
Player C Answers : Beside training skills, you could also kill monsters, stake, pk'ing, ... .
Thats all I wanted to say about this, I hope you guys learn something about it.

Yes!
There is an excessive amount of this so called "spamming", hopefully the staff decides to take actions since there is an option where players can delete their own posts if they are late to answer.
I was actually about to type this up.
-Stickied (After a day or so, I'll close this so it isn't spammed, I'll leave it stickied though.)

Just infract them and remove their posts. If they keep it up, ban them.
Simple.

I don't pick on you, I was looking for a prime example & I found one & it was with your name. It's not to put you down. (;
Refer to what Masterlop said.

Yeah it's annoying when people do that. I see people literally quote the person above them and write "what he said" or "yeah do that". Like, what an excuse to have more posts! You could at least add some information or if the person who started the topic wanted more information than what the repliers posted, give the topic starter the exact information they wanted. Repeating answers should be considered spam.
P.S. You can clearly see the "~ bronze axe" in the third person's signature, thus showing who it is. Shame on you, Bronze Axe! ANSWER REPEATER!

Example :
Player A : What drops the whip and where
Player B Answers : Nech drops whip
Player C Answers : at legends guild
just because the whole question was really never answered. Yeah thats all I have to say lol

Yes, only problem is,
on a thread where somebody was asking a question, somebody posted the answer and resolved the persons answer.
I then posted;
Question resolved please close, and recieved a warning for it.
BS.

By posting something like "question answered please close", you are really kind of just spamming it, no offense. There is nothing you can do about it so I would just not post anything like please close this thread because all you are really doing is just bumping it up and open the door for more players to post in it. Do your job and do not post if a question has already been answered.

Bronze axe if u read this idc if u think im picking on u, cause i am, and the reason is ur the one who does it the most. and idc what u said in post 14 go ahead! sue me!
Why the hell did you pick on me?
Like black out my name, it is coppy righted, so please dont, you can get sued
and back to my post(sort of)...
example 1 (http://dodian.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54486) look at post 6.
2... (http://dodian.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54364) look at post 7
and the most anoying of them all is bronze axe i mean he joined the forums "join date 2-13-2009" and he got activity 100% ffs!! and he got 900 posts... and seeing as how many days (30-40)he been here i think he posts like 25+ per day!!!
and most of them are as the examples above.
the best solution for this is either delete post and get like a -10 post count infraction and if it happens again just ban for like 24h hrs + a -50 post count cause most probably thats what they go for. or a -5% in activity its the only way to teach them a lesson. and seriously i dont know what they are getting from this except them being able to say " oo look i have 100% activity and u dont!!!" which is stupid considering they have been here for 1-2 months and no one realy give a f**k if they got 100% right? so ya... and seeing those people there just realy anoys me the most.
~Nordin
EDIT: ye i edited the example i said what posts to look at for bronze axe. and realy his posts i would consider as spamm since the 4 people infront of him... posted exactly same thing!
o one more thing on this very topic look at posts 6, 14 & 18-20 on 6 i bet he didnt even read the thing, on 14 its bronze axe thinking he has "rights" and on 18-20 the 3 people post the same thing "u 4got to edit his name in sig"

This is getting quite annoying actually, if it's a mistake then fine, but don't intentionally post the exact same answer just to receive a +1 to your post count.
