Well all I've been seeing is "Nonny moose this" and "Nonny moose that" and then they quit?
I honestly don't see what so wrong.
The community seems just the same to me.
So tell me, what did moose do so incredibly wrong that you're all pointing fingers at him.
Enlighten me, I just want to know whats going on is all.
(I better not hear "BAD STAFFZ!!!!!!1!!")

I don't know exactly. Maybe you are just happy because he gave you forum moderator and you want to back him up? It could be for many reasons, all from different people. Make a debate.

He needs to understand that we are not his students
he is taking this game way to seriously but i have nothing
on him but I'm sure after a while he will adjust and be a great
admin.
The server is not fun anymore, like it used to be. OOO! YOU SAID "****, my leg" BANZORED! etc..
No freedom at all....

I just wasn't here when he was given administrator.
I just want to know what was so drastic that he did, that makes everyone seem to hate him. He doesn't seem bad to me thus far. :\

I just dont think the community can cope with a teacher in their mitsts. They think that hes banning/muteing them because hes the new admin when infact it could be any-mod.

From what I've been hearing, he's been really strict with the rules. Everyone seems pissed off at him for that reason.

Noles banned countless people daily?
That didn't change the fact that everyone kissed his ass on a daily basis.
And sherpa, rules are rules, they're there to be followed. Whats wrong with being strict? :|

Yeah .. I remember when we could yell stuff like
This is person is a gay lord and not get muted
like the staff knew it was a joke but now if we do it
we would get muted right away.

That's nothing from Moose. That was there when Noles was an Admin.
So why are you blaming Moose for that?

Noles was 16ish. Moose is 40. I don't have a problem with his age, but this is my thought.
I think most people can't cope with a teacher, like AquaFear said. We go to school, and our teachers direct us, and tell us what to do, all the time. We don't want to play a game that helps us relax and be directed and lectured all the time.
It's like going on vacation and not relaxing.
That's what I assume people think.

We can hardly do anything these days without dodians new staff members getting on our nuts.
Why do you think i quit being dedicated to this server over a year ago? :P
And i don't know who this nonny goose is but i'm assuming hes the same as every other mod/admin we get now a days

Mods would have always been strict.
And mods still aren't that strict, the yell channel sure, but thats been abused countless time's and if you have been around as long as me. You know it's annoying.
I still haven't been told what he's done so wrong, besides doing what he's suppose to as admin.

we are not in school i come on dodian to relax and play without being
bossed around some more.

People like the guy, and his ideals are great. They are just completely insufficient for the type of community we have around here. It can be like any great politician. They speak the best of policies, the best of it all. Yet, once in office, it cannot function. Exerting these laws on a server such as this just does not work out.
Great admin, wrong ideas.

Take the following into consideration:
I have no problem with Moose. Before he was Admin, we could have a friendly chat now and again. Nowadays, he wears this Admin hat all the time, and I'm treated like an underling or someone who isn't equal /most/ of the time. Moose is a great guy, has great ideas, and does a good job. But, he needs to think like a child, not like a teacher.
On top of this, there is alot of concern going around with Cariz being mod. Alot of people think that he shouldn't be at his current position. I think he earned player mod, but perhaps the global jump was a bit of a power play.
Also, the senseless modding and demodding of various people to try and perhaps make the system work better - I say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
Benz has alot of these thoughts and much more in his quitting thread.

Noles didn't ban people for stating their mind, if Benz wasn't well Benz Moose would of banned him for that quitting thread.
Including the thread where Thrill quit in, he stood his mind on how the staff wasn't functioning and that was the reason he quit. Moose banned him for posts without constructive value which hell, I don't even know what that means. He banned almost everyone who positively replied.
To be honest, Benz's thread speaks my mind perfectly. Good read, in my opinion.
