To be honest, some people think hip hop and rap are the same. Coming from an artist I can honestly say they are not.

Hip Hop is more poetic and has more meaning than rap. If you want to hear "rap" listen to 50cent or that "gangster rap"

If you want to hear hip hop listen to Eminem or The Game. My favorite hip hop artist is Immortal Technique.

If you want to hear my hip hop go ahead and check it out

This is all in my opinion - Should of stated that before I posted...These are not stated facts.

Here is a fun fact..Did you know rap battleing is the highest form of human conflict?

Buddy Eminem is a rapper and so is The game.

And that is your opinion. In my perspective, everything Eminem rap's about is true and has a meaning..

Rapping about *****es car's and drug's has no meaning...Rap

Of course 50 cent has good songs, only reason he is big is because of Eminem.

50's goin' out of business, he hasn't made anything in the past few months. Hip Hop is a lot different then rap in my view, rap to me is just a person singing without really caring and singing about girls, cars, etc. Hip hop has more off a beat , etc. People like Usher are great examples of hip hop.

The only Eminem music I actually got interested in was when he was with T.I.. Before that, i really didn't even care for Eminem. Now I think he's a descent rapper.:)

I think that the difference is that rap is all gangster and stuff and hip hop is kinda "happier", y'know what I mean? I don't listen to much of either, so I have no idea what's the actual difference.
