There seems to be a increase in the awarness of viruses on the forums so here you go.

Stop downloading Norton
Norton is worthless, it slows down your computer and practically helps the viruses own you "Silly virus, your looking for system32? Its right here duhh"

Get something that works, like avast!

I have two real time scanners. CA and AVG 8.0. I also have MBAM as a backup scanner and I run that when I need to check my computer. Yes you all might say "You shouldn't have two real time scanners." I've over-clocked my computer so much, it can handle it and they've never "clashed" so until that day, I don't really care. xD Security=Number 1.

In my opinion, Norton is the best thing you can get... I have a 100% legit copy of it, I'm a programmer. It may use a lot of memory, but it works great.

Wow. You guys can't be that dumb? You left me dumbfounded when you said that Norton sucks. I'm using it, and it is probably the best. Norton 360 is the safest.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Nortan kicks ass. Also, if it's laggy, its because your computer is **** and has ****ty RAM.

I download all the time, torrent and ect.. I scan once a day. I've never had a virus that got through my firewall.

I have norton, and it works pretty well. I used to have McAfee and I always used to get errors with it, so I finally said "F*CK THIS, I'M GETTING NORTON" and its been great ever since. :)

No. No real time scanner is reliable, and since Norton is common these days, you'll find a lot of virus writers, will try to get their viruses to by-pass Norton's security.

I've recently had Norton, but i didn't notice anything bad about it.
