I scream from the loss
I ask someone from above
Why did you take her?
Why did you take my one true love?

I cry, I can not handle this anymore.
I pause and think, then pickup the knife
I wake up cold, screaming in pain
I can not take it anymore, I end my strife.

The cold, the darkness, the fall
It is too late for me
I can not be saved from my hell
I will die, just let me be.

It is over now, I am back with her
"Merlin, I missed you, oh Merlin"
She barely whispers to me
And now I am one of The Fallen.

My poem is about an angel, Merlin, who is in love with another angel. This angel he is in love with becomes one of the Fallen. The Fallen are a group of angels who have turned to hell. Merlin asks god why he took her from him. Eventually he can not take it anymore and kills himself. This results in him becoming a Fallen. My poem shows what one will truly do for love. A person will do anything to be with their love. Rate, or hate I don not care.

This seems like a speech too. I like reading your poems. Just add a little touch of vocabulary here and there to spice it up a little :)
