I busted through the wall with ease. I was starting to enjoy this. I made my way down the street to the woods. I clawed everything I touched. The wood crumbled under my hands and feet. Moving deeper into the woods I heard the voices again.

I told you this one would survive.

I still think he won’t make it.

I like this one.

I’m going to test him.

104?

Yes, 104.

A sharp distorted noise flew through my mind, much like you would hear from a TV. I through my hands to my ears and collapsed to the ground. Screaming into the air I noticed I acquired fangs. Suddenly I was flung forward and slammed harshly against a tall oak tree. I leaned against the tree and turn around to the force. A tall man in a black trench coat stood before me. His breath was visible in the chilling air. “We all are connected. However, you are an abomination to our Project. You must be eliminated.”

He reached into his trench coat to draw a clear sword. I stood slowly and exposed my claws. “What project? We? WHAT AM I?” I called to him. He ignored me and ran a cloth over his sword and put the cloth back in his pocket. He looked to me and coldly said, “Don’t look at me while I kill you. I don’t want your eyes on me.” He took a step to me with his sword in the air. I stared at him and backed against the tree. “I said don’t look at me 213.”

He attempted to slash at me but I ducked slightly and his sword dug into the tree. I straightened my hand and shoved my claws into his stomach. My claws went straight through him. His blood started to travel down my arm. He breathed slightly. “This isn’t possible…you…you were just only added to the Project.” I trusted my arm upwards and my arm split through him. His corpse collapsed to the ground. Panting, I leaned against the tree again. “What am I…?” I bent over and searched his body. I took his trench coat and I found his dog tag. Printed on it said 104. I put it into my pocket and turned to the tree.

The sword was still stuck in the tree. I wrapped my hand around the end of the sword and a green spark wrapped around my arm and I couldn’t let go. “What the?” I tried to pull away but it wouldn’t budge. I stared at it for about 20 seconds when it hit me. A sharp pulse shot through my arm and the sword disappeared. I looked at my hand and it appeared again. I smiled at it and looked to my house again. The voices.

I told you.

He isn’t done yet.

He will grow strong; he killed one of your finest.

104 was a failure from the start.

213 is our breakthrough.
