Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock is the newest game besides Rock Band that lets your play with a guitar! You can play on four different levels. Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert. The makers of Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock are Activistion (Now Activision Blizzard), and NeverSoft even though the creators of the other Guitar Heros were Harmonix. i would say guitar hero 3 legends of rock, because if number 4 comes out, idk what songs are on it, and i like every song on gh3 except kool thing

I have them all besides GH4, (including Rock Band) and GH1 had the best overall songs, but GH2 is where it was at. GH3 is wicked hard, and I can barely do "Through the Fire and the Flames". They added more notes in places they didnt belong just to up the challenge level. When I play a song, I want to play at least somewhere near what they are playing.

Yes Expert mode, and no I dont play often. I do play Guitar in real life, and have for a few months. (2 or 3)

TBH, Guitar Hero is only fun when you get a Song Editor THATS when it gets fun. I made a song editor for the PC version of GH3 that dumps the song files from GH's DATA files and using the program you are able to "inject" a new song into the songlist all you got to do is use a little tool called MP3info and let it find the Song,Guitar, and Voice tracks and put those into the program then convert whatever format the song is in to .midi then place that in the program, hit ok, and watch it re-pack the GH3 songs back into the DATA files and write and FSBencrypt the song that you just placed into the songlist. The song that you just placed now can be played and it has the notes displayed correctly, no "offbeat" notes, no errors or anything except for the fact that the band is in their idle posistion the whole time due to the fact that the models aren't insync with the song you just injected into the songlist. NO YOU CANNOT HAVE IT MAKE YOUR OWN.
