This is a short chapter but the next chapter will be my last one of this story.
I only made this chapter short because i wanted to devote my last chapter to them entering the building and finishing what as begun or not? =] here you guys go =] Happy reading.:D:yes:
I haven’t slept in days. I looked into the river that flowed next to me. My eyes were blood shot. I decided to drop the guns I had recovered from the town. They just didn’t affect any of “The Project.” Lost in thought, something quickly caught my attention. A sharp flash of red fluttered past me. That girl was following me. “I’m sorry miss, but you will have to stop following Me.” turning to my left I stared at her where she looked surprised.
“How did you see me?” I looked dumbly back at her. “Um… I saw your coat shoot past me?” she looked down. “Knew I shouldn’t have followed you” she said under her breath. “I HEARD THAT!” she smiled and walked over to me. “213, I have chosen to occupancy you in your travels. With this I will fight with you and be with you at all times. Think of me like your bodyguard.” “And if I don’t accept?” “then you die by the council.” I sighed and continued to walk. “Okay, but I would like to know 2 things.”
“And they would be?” “One what is your name?” “Nya.” “Okay, Nya” I looked to the path I had been following. “What is The Project?” she stepped back and made her hair cover her face.
“The Project is an organization that tests things on humans. They go in when a person is dreaming and inject there ‘product’ into there victim. Most of the time people die. You know when you hear on the news of people dying in there sleep? Yeah, it’s The Project. The ones that do survive either are controlled or get away like we have.” She looked up at me then started to walk. “The ones that got away…they kill.” I followed behind her listening to her every word. “However, you’re different” she looked at my face, searching for something. “They can enter your mind yet they can’t control you.” “How do you know that?” She sighed and walked again. “Because I’m 1” I watched her moved then slowly followed.
“May I ask where we are going?” I looked up at her after a few minutes of awkward silence. “To the source of The Project” “We are going to bring it down?” “Yes” “Just us two?” “Yes” I stopped. “Are you crazy? I know there are more than two people controlling this “Project” we are going to die. Plus why should I even trust you” She stopped and turned to me. “You should trust me because I have been wondering looking for a member that I think could take down this once and for all. Also we won’t die; I know how to get in without anyone knowing.”
Nightfall came about within a few short hours and we came upon a tall corporate looking building. She looked to me with the darkness hiding her face. “This is where it ends.”
Also if you would with your reply, should i sum it up in 1 chapter or 2?
