Windows 7

Hi,

I don't know if Microsoft have been clear enough when presenting Windows 7.. most people don't even know it's being made.

Does anyone know any special features it may have and any you think think a future version of windows should have?

Touch screen windows, never saw that. I wonder how much will it cost.

no i used it super taskbar (or what-ever its name) is the all-new start bar of windows 7

I actually tried out the Beta on my
Dell inspiron 1525 3gig of ram 150gb hard-drive vista premium laptop and at first you're like yeah it's cool n stuff but you can tell it's beta on down the line.
There are a lot of bugs in the beta version, but I wouldn't judge it by that it's obviously not the final cut.
One thing I did enjoy about it was the fact that it was pretty fast.
An example of some problems I came across were things like it crashing and programs saying the famous "(Not Responding)."
A lot like vista in appearance.
A couple features:
Say you got like 7 windows up and you want them all to minimize except for one you can use the "shake" feature where you grab the top of the window and shake it and everything else minimizes but the window that you shaked, and you shake it again for everything to come back.
Once I found out about some of the bugs I went back to Windows Vista which I had a few driver problems but with a few downloading here and there everything is back to normal.
I think vista is ok, it just requires really good proccesing speed and good ram
I have 2.0Ghz and 3 gig of ram which is decent for a laptop and I can multi-task like a beast so I'm satisfied, it's not slow a bit.
I still can't wait till windows 7 does come out though which I think will be either 2010 or 2011 cause I know beta expires in 2010.
If you would like a copy of windows 7 beta, I can get that for you but be warned it might not be what you expect. :)

yeah, windows 7 is great, i used it for week, but i'm back in linux now -.-

windows 7 has (aero shack, aero peek and aero snap) it has a new toolbar called the superbar when you go over a window a preview box comes up all the programs in the toolbar have only icons you can download a Evaluation copy. build 7100 at the micrsoft website you will need a disk that has atleast 3gb of memery for when it has downloaded to your pc.

i have been one of the people testing this new windows and atm you can only download the Evaluation copy on vista there is still much more to come on windows 7!
