View Full Version : Email Scamming

Okay guys, lately a lot of people have been reporting that they got an email from "dodian-confirm@live.com" saying that they will receive free premium status or that they have been selected for a moderator position. First of all, Dodian will never email you asking for your account details. Second, if you are dumb enough to fill out the forum that is attached to the email, there for losing items, we can not recover them. If Dodian ever needs to contact you he will do so via our forums here at www.dodian.com (http://www.dodian.com). For a screenshot to see what this email might look like click here (http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff16/triblade/ignorethis.jpg). Keep your passwords safe and do not fall for these lame scams.

I realise that, I posted in the hyperlink to that thread. I reposted this and got it on the homepage as an extra support to hopefully stop all this happening.

Yeah, seeing as more players see the homepage than a thread.

Mitch, you might add that if people set their accounts so that people can't contact them via email, they will not get these emails.

Thanks Mitch. It's so funny how people believe that it's actually us. ;)
We would never send you an email saying that or telling you to give us your passwords.
Wow that e-mail is so badly done, its horrible.
