Welcome all newcomers to Dodian. Dodian is the best private server that you can find.

Okay, enough about the forums.
Onto The Server.
I warn you, Dodian is not a very easy server, but don't let this turn you away. It is challenging, yes, but it is also very fun. It takes a while to get started, but when you do it's hard to stop.
Skilling (woodcutting, mining, smithing, E.T.C.)
are good ways to make money if you are patient.
Combat (fighting monsters E.T.C.) are also good ways.
Doing slayer is a good combat style way to make money.
Staking (dueling), if you are a good enough level, Is probably one of the best ways to make money.
Those are the three best ways to make money. (please don't ask people for money. This is 1. Very annoying, and 2. A bad way to make money =p.)
The server is very fun, challenging, and at times frustrating.
You can do every skill on Dodian (except farming.)
The skills are not fast leveling, they take a while. But it's worth it when you get to 99.
Like Runescape you have the usual friends list, ignore list, tool bar, magic, etc.
Staying with magic, you can only use ancients for combat style and high alch for non combat style.
You can do both of these at level 1 (have to do the lowest ancient magics spell though.)
You only have to use two runes to use the spells.
1 nature rune per high alch, And 1 blood rune for each
Ancient spells.
With combat, You can use any bronze weapon/armour
Iron weapon/armour Steel weapon/armour mithril weapon/armour adamantite weapon/armour. Rune weapon/ armour. You can use all dragon armour (Med helm, chain, legs, square.) You can use all dragon weapons (2h, long sword, battle axe (no dd or dds.)
There are whips as normal. Unlike Runescape though,
Skeletal armour is the best. At this moment there are no furies so glories are the best.
You can get most range gear also.

The only commands in Dodian are ::yell ::mod ::max
And ::redesign. (if I missed any, I'm sorry.)
::yell makes everybody see what you type. (you need to purchase premium for this privilege.)
::mod (Writing here) Shows mods whatever you typed. You use ::mod for help, questions and anything else you think is suitable. ::max obviously tells you your max hit. It's off a bit of numbers so add like 4 onto what number some up. ::redesign lets you change your character's style.
I think I've covered most of Dodian's many features. If you click on the forums button you can find a lot of help guides there if you are having any trouble.
