Why is my connection very bad?

Well plane and simple, my internet is very slow... i took a picture or speedtest.net. It really annoying downloading stuff at 50 kb/s tbh ive got fed up, any ideas? My connection to the box, or whatever its called is 2 bars.

Turn off some of your processes taking up valuable bandwidth. Open up your task manager. (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)

Are you all dumb? His documents wont make any difference, it is just his ISP. I for one have ADSL 1, so I run at 30KB/S (at one house) then at my dad's I have Cable and have speeds up to 20MB/S. It is just your ISP. Try convincing your parents to switch to a better plan which offers faster speeds.
Also, your area can play a big factor. As you can see, you're 200miles away from the Tower. Try looking to switching your diverted traffic to a closer tower, if there is one (contact your ISP).

yep arsenal is right.. your connection is slow not the internet. Go buy a faster 1 with at least 20 mb/s..

This is mine speedtest iceland - dublin and i got 12MB connection. Just get a better connection.

What do you mean by a better "connection" ? i have the best possible plan i can get from my isp. The connection fromm my computer to the router ?
