Considering the 'Random Event' bug:

As many of you know, there is a small bug going around, where you are randomly teleported to an area of pitch black, thus not reaching the intended area of the new random event:

When this has been occurring, naturally players have been using ::mod and the Yell channel in a cry for help.

Now, when they've been teleported out by a Moderator they are further bemused to discover they cannot use their teleport spells. This is because your character still thinks it is inside the random event.

To solve this you must patiently wait (whether you are stuck in Pitch-black or not) for a Moderator to find someone else already successfully in the random, teleport to them, teleport you to them, then you can complete the event and exit through the portal. You should be free to teleport after this.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this issue. Hopefully it will be solved swiftly.

That event looks fun. :) Thanks for the heads up!
Although, a mod should make a nub account and place it in the event location and give its password to all the staff members so they can use it as a dummy to teleport people there.
