How do i make a public server

hello..im just wanting a simple Step-By-Step information on making a public server...i have an ip address waiting to be made...i use my dads website lol...my dad says he will help me program it (map and code) but i need to get the server up and going first..if anyone can help..that would be great...well thanks alot to anyone that helps

Theres No "Simple" guide to it. It is a bit difficult but there are ones that are better than others. Like he said, moparscape forums are a good choice. also, Rune-Server.org has a good guide last I recall.
