Here's a quick poll to vote on, what Operating System do you use?

I use Windows [Vista], but I do like Macs a lot better.

What do you like?

PC and Mac are not operating systems, they are two differant desktop formats.

Windows and OSX are operating systems though.

And as to what I have:

Duel-Boot:
Windows XP Pro 64-Bit
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit

On my other HDD:
Linux

Ewww... Vista is horrible. Part of the problem with it is you can't run it on a computer with a low amount of RAM because the operating system itself and its SYSTEM files use way too much RAM. It's system is unstable and it's easily hacked without an extra add-on virus/hacker protection such as Norton/McAfee/AVG You need at least 1GB of RAM to run Vista without the slowness and the lag when opening and closing programs. Vista also has a problem with programs losing sight of the .exe files and becoming "Not Responding" It needs serious work or just start all over on a new one. --Info from head computer tech at UAB,Alabama lol my mom works with him... I run Windows XP Professional SP2. It doesn't pop up a window every damn time I try to run a program asking me if I really want to open that, or if I think the program is "safe" enough to open. Vista=FAIL Xp=1337

Its only horrible if your computer is ****. If you find a hacker programm or w/e try hacking me. 1GB of RAM doesn't cost a lot of money. XP had the same problem. Who the **** is that? Vista = 1337 XP = 1337.

Sooner or later your gonna end up using it like the rest of the planet so get over it.

I use Windows XP. It is very user friendly. Windows XP gives you the freedom to do what you want at home and at work—simply, reliably, and more securely.
