I live in Alabama. This is nothing to what goes on around here. I don't mean I live in a city, I live out in the woods. They still hold clan meetings behind the old TJ's convenience store back in the holler. My grandfather was a clan official in the 60's and 70's, so I'm use to this stuff. Everyone goes crazy about this, but it's honestly an every day thing in some places. I don't mean theirs shootings and stuff, just overall racism every where. NOT BEING RACIST. If a black person (African American for those that care), walked around where I live, I can honestly say that someone would get a rifle or shotgun out and go shoot him most likely. Not my entire community is bad, just some parts. When I went to Corner High School, we had a black kid in 2nd grade come there, and he lasted 2 weeks, because his parents yards were burnt and they were threatened to be hung. Maybe, I'm just use to it, I don't know. I certainly am not racist just against black people or Jews or anything. I mean you have stupid black people, white people, and Jews. Their looked down upon. You also have your successful black people, white people, and Accountants. To sum it all up, this doesn't shock me at all.

In the 1850's, before the civil war, if someone in georgia said slavery was wrong people would think that he was a retarded idiot but they wouldn't exile him. Granted he would probably remove himself because he didn't want to be near their bigotry, but he wouldn't be exiled and killed....

Tbh, people are brought up with different beliefs. In some places (and in some peoples minds) its natural. In others its not, its all about beliefs. Not sayin I agree with his actions, just saying its all about your beliefs.
