Prolouge :
I took my first step into the Fantasy World known as Trizenia. The sparkling, evergreen trees were the first thing that caught my eye. I was almost hypnotised by their beauty. I walked towards the glistening, crystal clear pond that was infornt of me. The area around the pond was full of hard, yellow grass. Wielding my slightly curved, golden scimitar in my right hand, I decided to set off for adventure.
There was a chilling breeze in the air that seemed to get stronger by the second. I was blown off my feet and fell to the hard, ice cold floor. My head started to spin and before I knew it, I was unconcious. There was no-one else around and I couldn't go to look for help. It seemed that all hope was lost.
I managed to slightly open my eyes. The stars above me were glistening like the evergreens I had seen earlier. Hangon...Stars? It was night time and my whole body was shivering. I tryed to pull myself to my feet but my body was numb from the cold. I couldn't call out. No one would hear me. I made another poor attempt to pull myself off the floor but could still not complete the task.
I opened my mouth except all that came out was "Urgh, Ugh, Eh, Uh". I decided that I could not get help until morning when it would be warmer and set up camp for the night.
When I opened my eyes the sun was already blazing high above me. It was alot warmer and my toes managed to slightly wiggle. I was glad to find that my blood was no longer frozen. As I chucked my scimitar to the ground I pushed myself of the floor but winced as my palm scraped along sharp, pointed stones. I took a quick glance at my hand to see what damage had been caused. I had recieved a small cut and there was slight bleeding but nothing serious.
I looked around to see if there was any civilization on this world. I squinted at an object that appeared to be a shack, then ran in the direction of it. My legs were shaking but I had seemed to keep balance by the time I reached the door of the minute house. As I reached for the door knob, I realized the gaping whole in my left sleeve. How had it got there? Was it there before I fell unconcious? I twisted the door knob and suddenly the door burst open and a green face glared back at me.
Its silver eyes sparkled like stars. It had ears as pointy as an elves. Its nose was identical to a pigs. I now knew what it was; a goblin. It pulled out a claw from behind its back and swung at me. It hit me, across the face. I staggered, then fell backwards. The goblin swung downwards towards my heart and pulled upwards, revealing a claw covered in blood and guts. My eyes closed and I layed there, pulseless, not moving a muscle. I was dead.
Chapter 1 - A step into reality :
"Not again!" I screamed. I chucked my buff, blue controller to the floor as I walked over to my 50 inch High-Definition television. I leaned over slightly and pushed the power button. The screen flickered and then turned black. I turned my back and started walking slowly out of my dim room which contained no lights when I heard sounds. I turned back to the screen of the television.
"No. This can't be happening," I whispered. What was happening? My television had turned itself on. I walked over and once again, pressed the power button. I decided that I should get out of my room quickly incase it happened again so I ran as fast as I could. When I was out of my room I could still not hear anything. It was now time for school so I quickly gobbled down a bowl of Fruit-Loops and was on my way.
I only live two blocks away from the school so it wasn't a long walk. As I walked into the front gates everyone was getting ready for class. I peered down at my watch. 8:10am. I was late for school again. I swung my bag over my right shoulder and ran towards class. I swung the class door open and then my teacher, Mr Balding, started to yell. "Where have you been Lucas?!" He screamed.
"I-I-I...I'm sorry sir," I managed to say. "I was just playing a game."
"That's not a valid reason. Sit down young man." he said. I walked over to my seat and sat down. There was a couple of work sheets spread out on my desk. I had the urge to ask but I decided not to as I had already been late. I pulled a pen out of my pencil case and got to work.
After school I decided to go to my friend's house, Matt, as I did not want to go back home to that television. I had alot of fun at Matts house. We played Trizenia together and then went down to the local park for a bit of a skate.
When I was walking home from Matt's house, a thousand thoughts went through my head. Was the tv haunted? Was it just a fuse? Why was I so afraid of a television? Before I knew it, I was standing on the front doorstep of my house. I pulled the handle and the door flung open. I walked slowly up the stairs and turned the corner into my room. It was darker then before. I decided to have a bit of a sleep so I strolled over to my bed, took my shoes off and layed down. I heard a noise. A light projecting onto the wall. I sat up and saw something horrifying.
