What Do Books And Reading Mean To You?

Do you do what I do, which is have several books on the go at once or do you read one at a time?

Can you not imagine life without books?

Do you have books secreted in various nooks and crannies in your house so that, wherever you are, you can pick one up and get lost in it whilst doing other stuff, like stirring the soup or hoovering; do you think books are a complete and utter waste of time?

I read one book at a time, if i start to read a book and get into it, i can read for hours and go into a fantasy world of my own, and i can make it feel as if im really there... inside the book, books mean alot to me, and they always will.

To be honest, I hate reading.
I used to be an active reader, but lately I haven't found any good books.

I don't mind reading. But I hate books. I tend to read about history and things that teach me (Manuals, wiki pages, etc.). I don't care much for those fantasy worlds books put you in, I mean, if I wanted that, I'll just go play some videogames.

I try to just read one at a time. Unless I've got one book that I'm reading for school, and another I'm reading for pleasure. I usually use books to kind of, escape from reality. It gives me something else to focus on, when I can't even think about what's going on in my own life. And I basically consume them like I do air. I read them so fast sometimes.

I don't think i've ever read a book tbh... life without books would be mylife atm.

I tie books to where I read them. I've been in the middle of 3 different books at a time before. One I would read outside when the weather was nice, another I would read in my room at my Dad's, and another I would read at my Mom's.

Without books, I'd be an immature troll.

I'm reading Tuesday's With Morrie for my summer reading, its really sad, but inspirational how he manages to live like that even with ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease)
