Chapter 1: Enter Tokaru and Ezu.

"Hey Tokaru, you ready?"
"Yep, lets do this"
Ezu and I hit the air of the RuneScape realm, as our bodies felt weightless in the void of transportation. We just spawned out of the air into Tutorial Island. We looked around and he both groaned. We read the manual on the frontpage so I figured that we had a bare idea. But you know what they say, "On Hands Expierience, equals Best Expierience." We saw the guy with the red Beret, looking fancy and well dressed. The CPU's discribed him as the RuneScape guide. Well, hopefully he can "guide" me outta this stupid island.
"Welcome to RuneScape, Tokaru4 and Ezu30" The man said with an inviting smile.
"Hey" "Hi" We both responded to him, trying to give it back to him. He gave us a quick run down on how everything works. Including interacting with our surroundings, the different options to do so, and such like that. After his about 20 minute lesson, we both walked out the door and felt the breeze of the water/stream going past us. Not looking back, we ran to the Fishing + Cooking instructor. Well, more like fishing. Cause anyone can make a fire. She told us welcome as the last guy told us, and we returned it. She began her instruction as so.
"Hello there," she began. "welcome to the Fishing/Basic Cooking portion of the Tutorial island. First you'll need a bronze hatchet and tinderbox!" We took the 2 items and began our tasks. We were to cut trees, light logs on fire, use fishing nets to catch shrimp, and cook em. That took no time at all. We said our goodbyes to the NPC and walked out. There were LOTS more guides to come. There was the cooking, magic, prayer, combat, mining/smithing, and banking system. We learned alot about the game, but the material we already knew made this easier. After finishing the tutorial island, we had gotten to keep some of the materials given to us during it, such as bronze swords, hatchets, runes, and etc. We hit the floor of Lumbridge and smiled. We were about to expierience what we've heard so much about. We heard banter about "cows" being a good place to train. We walked over to the cowpen a tad north from the castle in which we appeared at, and we started attacking them with our bronze swords. When the cows attacked us, it hit us hard, and already i felt myself weakening. I looked around at others with bows and arrows, huge 2 handed swords, and blue armor, that had loads more of health and strength then I did. I realized that we needed to train and get stronger. And that's what we were determined to do. Ezu was more straightfoward and hard headed about playing this game, and I was nervous and careful. But I knew that any kind of fear that existed in me would have to cease, because unless i wanted to be dropped harder then a pile of logs, I would have to man up, grow a set, and get with the program. I fought harder, and Ezu gave me a smile that kinda said "good job." I smiled back at him and continued fighting the cows. Eventually after fighting for a little I started hitting damage in units of 3 and eventually 4. I was getting stronger for sure. I noticed we didnt have any money despite our newly found skills. We asked around for cash and we were only responded to with the common response of "Noob." It didn't really hurt seeing that we were weak and stuff. A guy approched us and began speaking.
"Hey kid, follow me, I can give you 200mil coins and Mithril Armors." He said. We were desperate to do anything for cash, so we followed him. I saw a skull in the top of the screen. Something seemed wrong from there. But it didn't get any wrong-er then when a red splat with a 15 on it flashed in my vision, as the rip of a red scimitar would flash a large pain into my chest. I dropped to the floor on my knees bleeding, and my vision got blurry as i felt my body getting less heavy, my items falling out. Ezu was getting pounded to a pulp by a large hammer, and one swing was all it took to bring him to his knees, and take him out. I blacked out, and everything was silent. No feeling in my body, no sight, no hearing. Just the complete essence of "blank." I felt my fingers wiggling around, and suddenly feeling appeared in my legs, as i found myself standing, itemless, in Lumbridge. It was apparent to us, that, we were tricked. We looked down in shame, and walked to Varrock, seeing that there was a Grand Exchange area with loads of players throwing their money into it. We entered the octagonal center of economy and banked. We took the 12,535gp we had in our bank and used it to buy weapons and such. I bought myself a mithril scimitar and kiteshield, with plate body, legs, and helmet handy. I also got a team cape, since it looked kinda cool. After getting set with my choice of armour, and Ezu doing the same, we were continuing on our way out. But then we noticed we couldn't hear a thing behind us. We turned around and saw an explosion. 3 explosions actually. One colored red, one colored blue, and one colored green. The green one seemed to seperate the blue and red. All explosions widened and began to cover the whole of RuneScape in itself. All hit by the waves were hit into the air, and fallen onto the floor. In the black sky of RuneScape, you could only see green over the grand exchange. To the west you'd see blue, and to the east you'd see red. The green is beginning to get smaller, and eventually smaller. I peered closely at the Green, and noticed a man in there. Wearing a sparkling green robe and a unique spear and staff in hand, he was pushing both ends of his forcefield, almost trying to keep the Red and Blue apart. Ezu looked completely confused, and I just decided to run to the east. I went to see where the Red area started, and saw a man in red robes pushing foward. I screamed up at him and said 'Hey! Who are you?!' He paid me no mind, as he just continued his...his...thing. I ran over to the blue and saw a man in blue robes. When I screamed out to him i got the same ignoring. I just turned away and got angry. I opened my world map. I found Karamaja Island. Rumors said its an island that houses monsters of kinds such as the Lesser Demon, Red Spider, and Skeleton. It sounded like the perfect place to train, and for different levels too. I got my stuff ready, brought a small fee, and walked with Ezu to the Port known as "Port Sarim."
"Are you positive you're gonna do this Tok? I mean, these skeletons are pretty rough you know. And lesser demons are insane! Level 90s i'm talking! Look I'm just trying to do whats best for you, kay?" I looked at him for just a little moment and smiled.
"Ezu, I got a sign from that green Magi. I think he's splitting up the other 2 magi because if they collide, the cataclysm could harm the world of RuneScape somehow. Looking up and seeing red, I looked foward and proceeded to Captain Tobias, who just took his payment and sent me sailing to Karamaja Island. The trip was actually not too rough. Warm all the way. 2 hours passed and I have arrived at the Island of Karamaja. I ran up the hill and into the Volcano. I jumped into the hole and slid down the rope there. It was boiling HOT. I ran up to a Skeleton and began my attack. It was definetaly tougher then the cows at Lumbridge, but still a little weaker then me. I was smart to bring lots of Tuna for the trip, because food heals you in the world of RuneScape. As soon as the Skeleton hit the floor, a footstep walked in front of the skeleton. It was Ezu.
"Hey Tok, you're not in this alone buddy." He said with a smile. I returned his smile and gave him a high-5. We continued facing the Skeletons until our levels were at least Combat Level 60. I was 63, but he was 60 on the dot when we ran out of food. We ran out of the volcano, climbing up the rope, looking at the Lesser Demons fighting the strong people there. Whew. Imagine 2 guys like Ezu and me there. Crazy. We sailed back to Port Sarim, drinking Jugs of Water since we had just come outta the volcano. The auras of the red and blue were getting bigger, so the Green magi must be in some trouble. We looked at eachother and ran to his direction. There were Blue soldiers and Red Soldiers. There was a Plaque on the ground that said... Hmm. This is kinda hard to make out. Let me give it a try.
"Sa_adom_n _nd Za_o_ak at wa_ fo_ ev_r. Guth_x is irrele_ent."
I could try to slice into it and look at the imprints. After picking at it, this is what it said.
"Saradomin and Zamorak at war for ever. Guthix is irrelevent."
I see now. This Guthix god or something is splitting the two gods apart, so that they dont destroy this world with their chaos and fighting. Guthix let his supporters and Magers take over. He flew down to us.
"I am enlisting your help, Tokaru and Ezu. You two will probably not agree to this, but I need your help in this war."
"War? What war?"
"It is called the Struggle for Balance," he said. "and you two may help me in this struggle. I need to split these two apart before they tear apart this world with this explosive mayhem. So will you help me?" Ezu and I looked at eachother and smiled.
"You got it :)"

I really liked this story.
It had a few errors, but nothing big.
I would move this to the "Submissions" Section, instead of here.
My favorite thing about this story, was the character names.
I think that they are very creative.:)

Thanks. The names of Tokaru and Ezu are real names of our RuneScape accounts so it's a bit of a relief to hear they're normal.
