What happened?

Heyy, I played dodianwars about half a year ago, or so.
But I stoped because the game got inactive, and ultimately started to fail from lack of people.
One day I come back, to see how it is, and it's COMPLETELY revised.
There's no lhazerghost, no DavoSavo, and shinzo20, no no one!
Can someone explain to me, what exactly happened?

I was one of the top 50 dodianwars players, but I was destroyed and raided by lhazerghost and HATE, from that war between CCCP, and whatever. xD
What a fun time for me.
Being constantly raided... I had to make a seperate home planet, where no one could find me.

And yeah, I remember you Shinzo. You quit right before myself and War(Balmora, Tyreal, you remember, my right hand man during the war.) disbanded HATE and created APOC.

The war basically destroyed the game along with all of the duping. There were so many resources in circulation (500,000,000,000,000,000+ of each) that the game basically crashed on itself (Not literally, but figuratively. Nobody wanted to play anymore, including myself.)

We made alot of people quit though. Duping was a minimum before the war, so when everyone got destroyed by HATE they didn't want to spend all the effort building up. Once it was over though, there was small skirmishes between HATE, APOC, and some dupers like Firebower(Masuraki/Colin), God_def and a couple of others I can't remember.

It was a glitch with the shipyard.

If you remember the shipyards layout, you will understand what the following, very crude, layout will mean.

Normally, as an example, that is what you saw. Well, whenever you built something, you got it (Duh)

Well, building it was like this.

Small Cargo: 40

Well, if you did this:

It would build (4) orders of 40 Small Cargo. Instead of 1 order. Basically, for each time you put (1) under the unit you wanted to dupe, it would make an extra order - for free. As you can imagine, with all the resources in circulation, duping was rampant.

Ahhh yes. But you couldn't dupe deathstarz.
But yet, I was being spamm attacked by hundreds.
I remember when you first attacked my planet. I was like:

Yeah, there was another dupe method that I'm too lazy to explain. But you could use that method if you had BattleCruisers, since Deathstars were above BattleCruisers.

When the game finally died I had around 800m Deathstars. A small price to pay for trying to kill off the other dupers.

And the spam attacks, at the time, were legit. The war and before the war was legitimate, after the war Myself and a few friends started duping massive amounts of Deathstars to combat the people who started mass-exploiting the dupe.

I've actually been staff multiple times.

I've been a Sectional Moderator 3 times now.
When the RSPS server was up, I was a Player Moderator, Forum Moderator, and Global Moderator.
I was also the first person to ever be a Sectional Moderator.

And no, that war was all or nothing. So we took all. :)

ya lucky for me i wasnt destroyed but they realy should have made that dupe = ban or something but since they didnt i went and got like 10b light fighters on every single planet event the planets you could not see :) but the only problem was i could only get dupe crystal for the solar sats and also light fighters everything else did not seem to work. anyways i liked having rank 7 just cause of my huge amount of solar sats. (name used to be nordinwanabe then i changed it to HESSLER)

But still if you compare the old dodianwars with the new one i realy liked the old one better. Probably cause of all the fun memories of us destroying cccp and then when lhazer offered the alliance 10 bill of each resource if we could find all the planets of some guy i think his name was one hit k0 or something like that.
