I stare into the fading dark,
All I see is a glare of light,
Your shadows of darkness fade my soul,
As we reach out, hand to hand, we are whole.


I stare away into your trembling night,
As I gaze into the glimmer of your eyes,
We hold one another as we disperse our spark,
As I pray your shadows lurk in disguise.


Your fading hand burns in the sun,
I pray we can join together, as one,
You disappear into the shining light,
The sunset will rise.

As I cry a tear of burning light,
I pray that you are near, in my life,
You left behind a shading light,
Shading the way to my heart.

One day you will learn how to write something with an actual rhyming scheme. Oh, and the word 'light' shouldn't be used to rhyme with itself.
