My suggestion is that we delete the "books section" of the Literary Arts section and replace it with an "English Academy" where approved users and literary artists could post lessons on how to improve grammar, lengthen stories, and add detail, flow, and rhythm to poetry.

This would be an advantage because it would improve the content of literary arts, make its contests "more competative."

I think that there are some really AWFUL submissions, and if they just took a couple of "grammar lessons", their content would improve

Also, it'd be alot easier to see who wanted literary artist status, based on the quality of their guide(s)

This is my suggestion, because literary arts is one of the few sections I really do post in

Or, just a suggestion here, you can read up on grammar by yourself. If you want help then contact a literary artist as a last resort.

Though I rarely say this, I have to agree with Ubi. I won't put it as eloquently as he put it, but one of the reasons we're here is to give criticism to submissions posted. We're not English teachers, though; far from it. If you want tips on how to complete a poem, which direction to head in a story, or you want a response on something you've posted; I assure you that myself and all of the other Literary Artists are here for you though.

I personally use fairly decent grammar. I don't need to read up on my grammar. Some of the other users do.
