Well im realy sad to say that the programming section is lacking activity,
i would like to see a programming compition were the staff give a goal and the participants have to meat that goal in 1 programming language or anther and the winner is decided by time took to compleat and least lines of code,
or have a compition for each programming language eg vb2008, java etc etc....
i think this would be awsome and i think we should have like the MM thing and MOD thing for ppl but make a programming 1 like it would say VB Programmer for me cause i code in VB
and 1 for each section and 1 global 1 that says Programmer.
lol just noticed i reached 150 posts

well im glad 1 person thinks its a good idea, and just to let all you "Java" programmers know,
if you have edited a source it alot different then coding from scratch.

It's a good idea, but if you fix some of your grammar it would be even better.

I think it could be a good idea, if we had a community that knew a lot about that. I think the thread would end up getting ignored, because most of us don't know how to use that stuff.

I would probably have a go at it. Most people in this community that do know how to code would probably ignore it, but I think it would at least let the people who are interested in coding see what the pros can do :P.

that is exactly my point i want to get this form into coding or at least people that are interested into it,
My only feedback on this is that shorter code doesn't always mean its better.
It should be judged by
Neatness of coding (Using advanced methods to shorten code, or to make the process more versatile).
Style of doing the process (Visual interfaces, prompts, etc).
Ease of use.
Things like that.
