This is a battle between me and Bobby, whoever gets the most votes within a week wins the battle.

I dont see why if i can find an awesome smudge tut like hes seen millions of then id be better i spent more time on mine i made the background then added effects all he did was add gradient map to back ground ptu a render and smudge you cant even read text -.-

I haven't really seen that many smudge tutorials...my friend helped me one time and that's about it.

I didn't only put in the render, smudge and put in some gradient maps to the BG.

What I really did was...

Added in the render. Added in the BG colour, smudged, erased, smudged, erased, smudged, added in a c4d, smudged, erased, add in a few more c4d's, smudged, erased. Played with layer styles, added a few gradient maps, and a photofilter. I then blured parts- further back= more blury for depth. Sharpnened the tag up a big- erased oversharpened parts. Add a faint brush for lighting then. Then I added the text. Text should go with the flow of the signature not just be placed on anywhere, it just ruins the whole tag that way. Then I added in a border, and finished.

Somethings may look easy, but they aren't as easy as it looks.

I'll send you the .PSD file if you want proof it wasn't all easy.

I am facing defeat im still pissed he talk **** to me in the begining other wise this wouldnt be here. And your right text should flow but you cant even ****ing read urs so theres no point in the text. And yea he's better than me and i can accept that just dont come on my gfx threads and talk **** to me....... and MOST of yall agreeing with him is because yall know him and dont say **** about not voting just because you know him cause thats a damn lie this community only like people they know and only know people hey've known from somewhere else all the rest of use get no ****ing respect.

We dont all vote for him because hes well known. We dont even vote cause its him, we vote on behalf of the work. There have been times where there has been SOTM's with a well known person and a little faggot like you, and the faggot has won. So as I said, we vote on behalf of the work. Not on behlaf of the person making it.

We voted because overall his sig/tag is better. Not because hes popular, as I said people who were barely known have won before. Its not a popularity contest on some behalfs its a talent contest (Who's more talented to make the better tag)

If you're so sure that your work is better, you should consider entering official gfx competitions, or applying for the graphics arts rank. You did not handle defeat well, you handled it like a child. You proved this yourself by your reaction to simple criticism. Even if ViSway was insulting, flaming, or whatever you'd like to claim, which I highly doubt, you were still the child of the situation by coming here to this poll/thread, which you clearly lost due to skill, and flaming kind-hearted members who want nothing more than to help you improve, and give their honest opinion on the battle. If you can't handle competition, don't engage in it. If you can't handle people, get out of our forums.
