I would have to say, in my opinion, that the quote is all wrong. It should be more.

"The brighter memories get tainted by the dark ones, the dark memories stay with you forever, and the new memories get darker as you go; and so the cycle continues."

I would have to say, in my opinion, that the quote is all wrong. It should be more.

"The brighter memories get tainted by the dark ones, the dark memories stay with you forever, and the new memories get darker as you go; and so the cycle continues."

But yours makes no sense. There is no cycle the way you put it. If new memories get brighter as you go, the dark ones will overtake them, starting the whole quote over again, that's why mine makes sense.

It means life goes on, no matter what.

Its darkest before the dawn. And after dawn is day. and then after day is dusk. Then dawn... and so on.

I got this.

Bright = Good
Dark = Bad

Bad = stronger than good
Bad = gone by new ****
new **** = better as you go

I Win. -Plugs it into the quote-

The good memories get absorbed by the bad ones, the bad memories get forgotten by the new ****, and the new **** gets better as you go; and so the cycle continues.
