Starcraft = Warcraft?

Well I have played the original Warcraft games, but not very much. For a long time I've known that Starcraft I and Warcraft I-II-III are very similar because one of my brother's friends mass-played them. Unaware I'm asking is Starcraft going down the same role as World of Warcraft, just spacey and.. you know. If so, I could get into it because the medival **** just gets old after seven years of them.

No, they won't do the same thing with StarCraft, simply because the lore isn't as deep as the WC series and it wasn't as big.

StarCraft really only got big in the Asian countries(Korea, China, etc.), they nerfed quite a few plans to expand the Starcraft Universe('StarCraft: Ghost' to name just one), and decided to keep it as an RTS (StarCraft 2 is supposed to be coming out... someday.)

So.. basically.. no, StarCraft will not end up like WarCraft.
