OK so this may seem useless but for many people that have not had viruses and when they get one they might have a chance of detections.
Malware: malware is a form of backdoor trojan that allows the attacker to perform malicious actions, including taking over your entire pc if the attacker is experienced.
Trojan horse: A Trojan horse is one of the main types of computer viruses, and it is a virus which is nothing more than a computer program. However these types of viruses can do an incredible amount of damage to your PC. They are a program which pretends to do one thing while actually doing damage to that program when the user starts it. Trojan horse attacks is one of the most serious threats of all as far as your computer security is concerned and so these types of viruses can be spread in the guise of literally anything, which makes it almost essentially impossible to notice them, even when you are looking specifically for them.
Worms: and these types of viruses work by using computer networks and security flaws to be able to create copies of itself, and then the copied worm will continue to scan the computer network in search of any other security flaws. Worms are basically more complex than Trojan horses, and a computer worm does not need a host program to be able to infect.
You can do your best to try and protect yourself against worm viruses by keeping up-to-date with regards to installing patches.
these are just a few of different viruses and there definition. but remember, even the most crappy made and in-experienced viruses can destroy anything.
i hope this helped, mod/admin pleas stikky if u feel necesarry,
