IRC Rules

If you follow the rules below, there should be no reason for you being banned, muted, or possibly even glined from the network.

Don't think that just because you're on the IRC the punishment will only be on the IRC!

1. Spamming

• Spamming is defined as irrelevant, uneeded annoying messages. Spamming will get you NO where, except a one way trip to being kbed(Kick + Ban) out of the channel.
• If you are caught spamming multiple times for no reason, given warnings and still continue, further action will be taken to your account.
• This includes the following: Spamming Channels(Advertising them), Spamming website urls, other IRC networks, malicious content/urls.

2. Flooding

• Flooding is also spamming, this can mean from sending mass ammount of messages to a channel or user, this will NOT be tolerated. If any Operator or Network Administrator sees this you will be warned, if continued your account will be suspended, or even glined.
• If you retaliate(Strike back) to someone flooding and you are caught doing the same, you will both be punished. Two wrongs don't make a right!

3. Nick Theft

• Nick Theft is when you steal someone elses username when it has already been taken on the forums and they havn't registered it already. This is also known as impersonation.
• If you are caught stealing another users Nick you will be glined from the network for one week(Seven Days). This will not be tolerated at all no matter who you are, or what you mean to the community.

4. Ban Evading

• Ban Evading is when you are banned from a channel or glined from the network and you use a proxy, Socks4/5 to get back on. If you are seen ban evading your original account will be glined, forever.
• Rules are here for a reason, ban evading will just make the punishment even worse, if you wish to be unbanned originaly, don't evade!

5. Malicious Content

• Malicious Content is our strictest rule. If you are caught giving out an infected(Virus) file or program, or linking another user to a site with any type of Malicous content, serious actions will be taken.
• Releasing Malicious content will result in a nick suspension, forum ban, and Zline from the network.

6. Disrespecting Staff

• Disrespecting a staff member in any form will not be tolerated. Depending on the situation you will be banned from the channel, temporarily or akicked(Perm ban) from the channel.
• If you are continuously disrespecting staff, flaming a staff member, or harassing a staff member you will be glined without a warning.
