Summary;
Bryan Mills is a retired United States government agent. He has a 17 year old daughter Kim, and he is divorced. She lives with her mother, the ex wife of Bryan. One day Kim plans to take a vacation with a close friend The destination is Paris. They are staying in a rented house, but when they share a taxi with a friendly man called Peter. He makes a note of the address he works for a criminal gang from Albania. The next day Kim receives a call from her father. While answering the phone 2 men’s are entering the house and kidnap Kim and Amanda. Bryan gets some information from Kim about the men’s.
Bryan is starting an investigation and reaches Paris to search for his daughter. There he comes to know the kidnappers are Sex-Slavers and he will only have 96 hours to recover his daughter.
My own opinion;
I really enjoyed the film. It’s one of the best I’ve ever seen.
The only thing that was a little bit unrealistic was the part where Bryan kills everyone. He just kills them like they were chickens. The most exciting part in my opinion was in the begin of the film. When 2 men are entering the house and Kim is on the phone. I was really overwhelmed when that happened.
For me it’s like a message; Never trust someone.
The worst part of the movie is on the boat. He just kills everyone so easily except the last guy. That’s a little bit unrealistic.
