#2 has some iterations on Discord as well.

And the PSD can be downloaded here. (@The Kraken did the original one, then I made some tweaks to it - for better or worse).

However, imo those are all new and has nothing to do with what Dodian had back then. Which means we should either use one of the originals, if we can find them, or work out the remaining details of them to get them just right.

Adding to the above paragraph; I personally think that #3 has the best appeal, just could use a little work around the logo. However, it does scream a bit high rev/OSRS, more than 317/477 though.

And as you can see, #2 has already had a couple revisions which (imo) has improved its quality a bit too.

Ultimately I think it's a bit early to have a poll on which one to add yet. Maybe a poll towards which one to "finish"?

I really love #4 and #3 as well. Both reminds me of what dodian is the runescape i remember but the private server i have loved even more. Images are amazing all the same i like #1 a lot but i feel it reminds me too much of the rs3 backgrounds. Don't get me wrong i do play RS3 a lot

I've made many backgrounds for servers and this background is perfection, I'm late to the party but I'm glad @Rembrandt created something phenomenal! You're a true graphic's artist. It's an obvious winner, the rest have barely any effort compared to that masterpiece.

My absolute only pet peeve of the background is the Dodian Logo not blending well with the background itself.

I've made many backgrounds for servers and this background is perfection, I'm late to the party but I'm glad @Rembrandt created something phenomenal! You're a true graphic's artist. It's an obvious winner, the rest have barely any effort compared to that masterpiece.

Appreciate it! I tried reworking the logo, but the rocky texture was hard to replicate in a way that both enhanced the image quality and blended with the background, while also still retaining the old, nostalgic 'Dodian' look and feel. All my concepts felt as if McDonald's would change their logo to an orange and burgundy logo. It's something I still want to look into and haven't given up on, but for the time being I decided to go with the old logo.

Maybe it'll be done in a possible Winter Wonderland / Christmas themed client background ?
