I own a Hp myself. I've just heard macs aren't the greatest for servers and everything.

I've only had a problem connecting to one random server.

I use Ultramon, I'm using the trial version (If the trial runs out just reinstall it and it'll renew it again for 30 days). It's a pretty sweet piece of software, that's how I have separate wallpapers on each monitor as well.
