Regarding the LA Icon and Color

I heard rumor that you all were displeased with our icon and rank color. Is this true? I heard talk of getting an Admin to change them, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
 
I think the color is fine...

I did like the old one, but like I stated before, when I was head, the administration thought it too closely resembled Global Moderator.
 
Sea green does not resemble global moderators? It resembles graphic artists, but it was our color first and we want it back. We should get it back. Make them purple again.
 
I actually would prefer a different color, but the icon is what I want different. I wanted to have the quill that the current Graphic Artists have, but then what would they use? We could share the icon and just switch back to our original colors, but it would be an issue I would have to take up with Seno.

Drop the icon. We are not staff, and color should be an identifier enough. A crown shows power and staff, but a book/quill is just odd and confusing.
 
Global Moderators aren't coming back. So we can change back without fear.

If it's true that they aren't returning, I'd feel comfortable switching to their old color, due to the fact that SeaGreen was rather hard to look at, where Lime Green was very vivid and noticeable. It is still debatable, so everyone speak your mind.

Sea green. Everyone else is going original, we should also. Drop the icon and sea green.
 
Well, I agree with the color change, but we do need an icon. I find the title looking bland as if it were just a color. I do like having some-what of an icon, rather than not having one at all.

No, icons are bad. It was fine the way it was originally. All you progressives with your change, we don't want any of that! Just set it back to the original colors. They were nice and respectable. This icon bull**** is childish and adds a sense of power that we don't need. And yes, one of the rare times I cursed without being truly angry. That is how you know I am dead cereal.
 
Well the icon could only appear when posting, not talking all the Online Members section, and other crap like that. It is nice to have an icon to show the affiliation with the group, rather than just a color, like the hat, or the current book, or the feather(what I'm pushing for). The color could be visible everywhere, and the icon would only be used in post.

Just no icon.
 
What is this new icon? We want it to go back to the way it was before. It is simple, we want sea green names with no icons and one of the Dodian avatars.

Just because there is a server again doesn't mean everything changes back to the way it was. The new icon is fine, the color is fine but if Apathy really wants it changed, put it to a vote.

Either way we're debating petty things, when what we should be looking at is the fact that there is once again some amount of activity in this forum.

Give it a few weeks. If everyone that joins is against the colors, if new users are confused, then let it be changed. If not, then why fix something if it isn't broken?

At the very least, we need to get out of black. It is hideous.

I agree with both of them. We shall keep it the same, but I do think we need a color change. A color change would be nice, but like Usul said...'Why fix it, if it isn't broken".
