I'm not a big Cricket fan at all really but....

England just raped Australia in The Ashes Series =)!
 
It was so amazing to see Australia crumble and fail.
 
Time to take the series 3-1 tonight. ;D
 
Yes, i'll admit you guys did play quite well. I'm honestly amazed by your top order batsmen (the middle order and tail enders have played amazing also), the top 4 batsmen (Not so much pietersen) have been batting outstandingly. England are a great team.
Michael clarke is a dumbass "I don't think there's too much to worry about", Losing an ashes series 3-1 and having the captain and vice captain not make 300 runs between them in 10 innings is nothing to worry about, is it?
 
Ricky Ponting for Australia played absolutely horrible. He should retire and let a person who truly deserves to be in the team take his place.

But honestly, who deserves the captaincy besides Ponting? Clarke's out of form, Hussey, Haddin or johnson are the only likely people to take it up.

Wow, that's a tough thing to say if because you're an aussie :).
I was blown away by Cook, he took every ball by it's merit and he derserved all the runs he made. To be honest, I don't think the aussies will go much further down the list, because they have some good players up and coming, but it may be a long building phase.

Cook was amazing, everyone must give him credit. If you compare this Ashes stats to his past ashes stats he has gotten an extra 400 runs this series. I say good on him, everyone needs a "break-out" series, if you know what I mean.
Australia don't have too many good players up and coming to be honest, I guess there is a bit of talent but from what I see noone near the talent of any of the greats. Give it a few more years and Steve Smith will be one of the great players of the Aussie Side.
 
I think Australia is in trouble for the next 5-7 years. They don't have anyone amazing, like Flow said, except a few bowlers and one or 2 batsmen. It won't even be close to to 1999/2003 World Cup squads. Also, I think their bad form will hurt them in this World Cup, and they won't even make the Semi-Finals.
 
conrgats, i'm pretty sure i'm the only american who has been to a cricket match on dodian. It's actually pretty cool.

They've won the world cup so many years in a row, i'm going to have to agree, we don't really stand a chance this year unless the selectors make some tough choices. Cameron white and Brad Hodge MUST come in if we want to stand any chance.
