Have you ever dreamed of hearing you lyrics on the radio? Have you ever dreamed of hearing your lyrics sung by Katy Perry, Ke$ha or even Justin Bieber? Do you dream of making money on your lyrics? Well, now is your chance. Releasing this one time contest, your dreams can come true! Dodian's elite Literary Artists have put their heads together, called on their most valued connection, and have gotten in touch with Pilot Creative Services. Pilot Creative Services (PCS) is one of the world's largest music producers in the past the decade. Producing songs by Katy Perry (California Gurls), Ke$ha (Tik Tok), Britney Spears, Taio Cruz (Dynamite), Mike Posner, 3OH!3, and Justin Bieber! We were able to get in touch with some of their best producers and they have agreed that they will look at the song written by the winner of our contest. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Below is some information on the contest.
How can you do this?
It seems that when the Literary Artists pool their resources together that we have some really good connections.
If I win will my song be sold indefinitley?
No, not indefinitely. But if it is good, it can be. Your song has to pass at least one, and possibly two (depending on the quality), screenings before going to the owner. This is still much better than if you submitted it yourself.
How long until the contest is over?
The contest is from January 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011. This is a total of six months to write one song.
When can I submit my song?
Not until March 1, 2011.
What must my submission include?
The lyrics and a YouTube video of someone singing your song (Title it "Dodian Song Contest: *Dodian User Name's* entry). Instruments are not required, but can be helpful.
What type of genre should my song be?
It is up to you, but look at the songs they have produced if you want a shot at it being sold.
Why can't I just send in my song by myself?
You could, but that would take a long time and have a harder time getting to where our songs are going to be starting at.
We are looking for people with good voices and people that can play instruments. These people will sing/play the final three songs. These songs will be voted on by the community. The winning song will be sent to Pilot Creative Services.
