There have been a plethora of improvements to the Dodian codebase over the years, some of them are mine from the mid-2010s.

I recommend using the current game server from Dodian.net which is open source and available here: https://github.com/dodian-community/ub3r-monorepo

And then I recommend that Dodian.com runs largely independent from .net, but puts revenue to sponsor the .net open source development team for future upstream updates.

Pretty much I'd like for the code to remain almost synchronized but allow for two different administrations. Dodian.net is the upstream community-focused open source org, whereas Dodian.com can be the growth-focused org that funds the .net development and benefits from it.

Personally, I think both dodian.com and dodian.net should exist as separate entities. Having two distinct platforms can actually foster healthy competition, leading to better content and features for players. Plus, it gives players more options to choose from, ensuring everyone finds their perfect fit.
