How did you guys learn to program?

Just out of curiousity I want to know how everyone learned to program? Course, Tutorials online, Examination?

So, How did you learn to program?

For mean I learned to program by following tutorials on YouTube and reading some online articles (Java for dummies or something). I also learned by copying peoples code and customizing it then writing it from scratch to see if I could do it

I followed a couple of tutorials, then literally picked it up as I went along.

I am very novice but I learn from friends.

I've read a book and most of Sun's Java tutorials. Most knowledge will come from experience, though.

Used a couple of tutorials/snippets to get the basics down packed. Then I taught myself by reviewing other code.

Worked with released code until I was comfortable with writing my own.

School... But we're not ready for Java yet, just Pascal and C++.

It just comes to me as i read tuts, and test them.. If u don't really understand, you have to have patience, and it requires some sort of knowledge.
