I think it would be really great if we started working on a new version of Usul's Having Trouble Rhyming thread. We could improve it, and make it into a great tool for our users. Instead of just straight on hopping into it, I think we should discuss what should be in the thread. Here is what I think.

  1. New rules. I think that we could expound and just make it a bit more clear, no nonsense or rudeness. And we should probably add plagiarism onto that list.
  2. Information on common grammar errors. We do have two posts on it, but we could add more. I was looking for one, to give to Seth, and I was surprised it was not on the list.
  3. Information on what it takes to become a literary artist. I think this needs to be said once and for all, to the users and both us artists. With leadership change comes change in the requirements. Apathy, you have been quite vague on what you want us to do exactly. Is just critiquing and submitting work good enough or do we need to do more? (Little semi-rant there, sorry. :p)
  4. Useful tools and sites for writing and improving people's writing abilities. I know that I would love to improve my abilities as well.
What do you guys think?

If you wanted it to be edited it can, but why delete something that doesn't have anything wrong with it?

No, it is not. We can keep the basics, but we should update and edit the vast majority of it. Why not improve it?

Tell you what, Revamp it and submit it to Apathy. If he doesn't have a problem with it, then let him change it, or send it to me if he doesn't want to.

I'm all for the progress of this section, but Ubi, you want to redo everything, make new literary only forums, change different aspects that don't need to be changed.

If it does need to be changed, bring it to the attention of Apathy. He's the Head Literary.

Yes, exactly. Change doesn't create activity. I think the last 4-5 months here proved that. Small updates doesn't increase any activity at all.

Nothing will revive this section until people start to realize what it's about in the first place.
